To the Ones Who Remembered and the Ones Who Forgot

With time, I’ve grown to cherish the quiet moments — not just the ones I choose, but also the ones life gives me when I need to breathe, reflect, or simply exist. In those still spaces, I’ve noticed who reaches out. No agenda. No expectations. Just a gentle check-in, a small gesture, a simple "How are you?" — and those moments have meant more than words can say.
To those who noticed my silence and showed up with kindness: thank you. Your presence, even in subtle ways, reminded me that care doesn’t always need to be loud to be powerful. You saw me, even when I wasn’t at my brightest. That kind of love stays with a person.
And to those who only appear when they need something — I see you, too. I hold no anger. Life pulls us in different directions, and sometimes we forget to look up until we need a hand. Those interactions have taught me a different kind of lesson: the value of balance, the importance of reciprocity, and the quiet strength in choosing who I pour my energy into.
This isn’t a message of blame. It’s a moment of clarity. I’m learning to be more mindful of where my time and heart go. I’m learning to honor the people who make space for me, not just when it’s convenient, but when it’s quiet.
So if you remembered me when I had nothing to give — when I was low, silent, or simply distant — thank you. Your thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed. It rooted itself in my heart.
And to anyone who may have forgotten — I still wish you well. Some people are meant to be part of the noise. Others, part of the quiet. And in that, I’ve found peace.
